Benefits Overview

Medical Insurance:
Group Medical Plan, including retail and mail-order prescription drug program. Coverage is available 30 days from first day of employment

Dental Insurance:
Coverage is available 30 days from first day of employment.

Life Insurance:
One-and-One-Half times salary, company-paid, effective first day of employment. Optional additional coverage available for the employee and dependents available 30 days from first day of employment.

Flexible Spending Accounts:
Dependent day care expenses. Health care expenses.

Vision Plan:
Discount card available, or enroll in managed vision coverage 30 days from first day of employment.

Graybar Stock Purchase Plan:
Offered annually. Employees and retirees may own stock.

Disability Benefits:
Short-term and long-term disability benefit (Company-paid).

Pension Plan:
Defined benefit based on pay and years of service. Participation following one year of service (five-year vesting from hire date) (Non-contributory).

Profit Sharing & Savings Plan:
Eligible employees may make voluntary before-tax (401(k)) and after-tax contributions after six months of service.
Eligible to receive discretionary annual profit- sharing contribution by Graybar after one year of service (three-year vesting from hire date)
Self-directed investment choices with loan and withdrawal options
Rollovers of before-tax assets from a prior employer's qualified plan are accepted.

Vacation:
1 year of service but less than 5 = 2 weeks with accrual formula
5 years of service but less than 15 = 3 weeks with accrual formula
15 years of service but less than 25 = 4 weeks with accrual formula
25 or more = 5 weeks with accrual formula

Paid Holidays:
New Year's Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Day after Thanksgiving
Christmas Day
Plus, up to three "floating" holidays

Educational Reimbursement:
100% reimbursement for undergraduate and graduate courses at state colleges
75% reimbursement for undergraduate and graduate courses at private colleges
Matching contributions to qualified educational institutions.
